| "Scrap M3 & a Barge at Wheelspur"
An M3 pair (LI 9812 & LI 9863) and two Pullman Standard P72 Coaches (LI 2907 & LI 2933) sit loaded onto FICX Flatcars on the "River Track" at Wheelspur Facility while a barge passes by. The railcsrs are waiting to be transported to Frontier Metals in Ohio for scrapping. These four pieces of equipment are the first of many vintage LIRR equipment that will meet the torch in the upcoming months. |
