Here is the sight of the NS Exeter derailment 38 of 54 cars derailed on the 3.5% grade. Hwy 68 was just reopened today with the derailment occurring at 8:40pm on Saturday Nov 18, 2017 just minutes after the start of a heavy rain and wind storm. Thankfully the crew escaped injuries and the crash sight is around a half mile from any structures in any direction.
