Remarks & Notes

The "Clinchfield 676" greets the dawn on the Friday of the 50th anniversary Santa Claus Special weekend. Two items are on the agenda- fix the twisted running board (above the front cylinder) and wye the engine. The first task will be completed, but the 4-10-0 pedestal tender balks at going around the wye, so the engine will have to be pulled backwards to Shelbiana, KY, after dark.
