| RENFE 0-6-0 No 030-2564 has a good load of briquettes on its tender as it backs down on to the 14.55 Correo to Fuente de San Esteban as the CP shunter walks forward ready to couple up before departing to Spain. I will never forget my journey on this train over this spectacular line. The 0-6-0 was built in 1928 by Construcción Naval at Bilbao. It was only the eighth locomotive built by that company and the series were the last broad gauge 0-6-0s built for use in Spain. |
