CSX Q282-27 (Baldwin,FL-Louisville,KY) lean into the curve on it's way north up Raccoon Mountain on the CSX Chattanooga Sub on the Nashville segment of it's long journey to Louisville. NS 6814 is one of nine former BN SD60M's that was acquired by Norfolk Southern from National Railway Equipment (NREX) during the fourth quarter of the 2014 season. In within the following months after their purchase they were sent to Altoona, for an inspection, and a repaint, thus the genesis of the Norfolk Southern's Triclops Thoroughbred. 6814, and it's sister unit is most definitely shoo-in as part of the strange and unusual side of the NS locomotive roster in my book. "Personally they would still good in Cascade Green, but you can't win them all!"
