| The morning after the winter season's first measurable snowfall, a pair of R.J. Corman EMD SD40-2Ts bring the last cut of loaded coal hoppers out of the loadout at Pax to meet with the rest of the loads of a unit coal drag for Thurmond. Even though coal has seen ups and downs in Appalachia in recent years, R.J. Corman's Loup Creek Branch remains a busy branch line. |
