Remarks & Notes

The Canadian takes a breather near the summit of Kicking Horse Pass as it waits in the siding for a westbound freight. This was taken prior to CP's project to double track more trackage from Lake Louise to the summit, and well before highway construction and animal fences adversely affected access to CP.
