Rolling coal and flood loading coal! A coal truck has just dumped his load at the Apex Mining site at Kyber, as U53 prepares to cut away to run around their train to start flood loading system hoppers at the Kyber loadout around the corner. The Southern Pacific Heritage Unit is in a strange place as the lead engine for the move up to Kyber from Weller Yard.
