Remarks & Notes
A group of lucky Alco cab units found a second life on Long Island as control cabs for the Long Island Rail Road. LIRR 600, once New York Central FA2 1102, is ready to depart Ronkonkoma station for Jamaica on a November afternoon. A GP38 on the rear provides propulsion.
