Welcome to Havre, MT........ Along the Former GN's now BNSF's Hi Line across Montana is a town by the name of Havre, Home to a BNSF Yard and a Shop, along with the Amtrak station that the east and westbound Empire Builder stop at..... Among those is this Gem right here GN 2584 a S-2 Northern, on my trip back east on Amtrak's Empire Builder I heard all about this locomotive from railfans on the west coast say that I had better get off the train in Havre and get photos of this..... I was not disappointed by any means and I hope some day this S-2 will be restored cosmetically.
