Gold Country. With a fresh coat of gold paint, SERA #48 guides a special work train through the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This train is headed towards a brand new 3,800' siding being installed by the Sierra Railway, just east of Cooperstown. Farther up the hill, the Fassler Flyer is busy serving the industries of Sonora, making for a very unusual two train day along the historic Oakdale Branch.
