It's 8 in the morning on sunday, the very first train on the Bernina line is running through Ospizio Bernina, highest station of the Rhaetian Railway network on 2252 meter a.s.l. It is a special run of railcar ABe 4/4 # 47, based in Poschiavo, to Pontresina for the steam rotary snow blower demonstration on this day. The railcar is shoving the track plow Xk # 9143, which is throwing the snow away which was blown in during the night by the strong north wind.
