So, EP20-003 electric passenger locomotive drives fast train from Nizhny Novgorod to Moscow lifting the snow aside. This train is called "Strizh" ("Swift") and consists of coaches produced by the Talgo company (Spain). Max speed of this train is 200 km/h but it accelerates to 200 km/h on few short segments. EP20 series is AC/DC electric locomotive (25 kV AC/ 3 kV DC; max speed - 200 km/h, max power - 7200 kW). EP20 is currently produced by Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Works in cooperation with the Alstom company (France).
