MAIDEN VOYAGE: For the first time since being repainted from its former CSX colors into Pan Am's paint scheme, MEC C40-8 #7635 leads a train on Pan Am Southern's "West End"--in this case Train RJED (Rotterdam Junction, NY to East Deerfield, MA). Here, the engine leads the train through Hoosick Falls, NY, with its fresh coat of blue paint nicely complimenting the brick buildings in town. This also marked the first time that ANY repainted MEC C40-8 led a train on the "West End."
