Remarks & Notes
After the Connecticut DOT-owned, Amtrak-painted Budd SPV-2000s proved unreliable on the New Haven-Springfield runs for which they were purchased, they had a short second life working for Metro North on the Waterbury and Danbury branches. This reassigned car posed in front of Waterbury's landmark station, built by the New Haven in 1909 and happily still intact in 2018. Since the 1960s it has been mostly occupied by a newspaper offices.
