As I walked back from class, I heard the familiar sound of a BLE locomotive's horn blowing for the crossings in downtown Grove City, PA. I quickly grabbed my camera, rushed to my car, and drove 25 minutes southeast to the middle of Pennsylvania nowhere. I didn't know this location existed, but I was just trying to get trackside. 3 minutes after I arrived, the southbound ore train, sporting four EMDs and led by a BLE unit, ducked under the overpass and my spur-of-the-moment outing was successful.
