| A fitting image for uploading on Cinco de Mayo as three Ferromex GEs lead BNSF's Grand Rapids local as the train nears its namesake in northern Minnesota. The Mexican units were waiting in Superior (WI) to take an ore train to Hibbing Taconite the following day and were pressed into service on the local, which had a larger than usual train. The ore train would go to a steel mill in Mexico, hence the appearance of the FXE GEs. |
