In 2018, the Blonay-Chamby Railroad/Museum is celebrating 50 years of operation. On this day, for photographers and filmers there was organised a "Mega Steam Festival" with 10 one meter gauge steamlocomotives. Lined up in front of the shed are 5 steamlocomotives, which all were built in Germany from 5 different works. From left streetcar locomotive G 2/2 # 4, built by Krauss in 1900, operational. G 5/5 # 99193 built in 1927 by Maschinenfabrik Esslingen, not operational. G 2x3/3 "Mallet" # 104 built in 1925 by Hanomag, not operational, but project to give live again. G 2x2/2 "Mallet" E # 164 built by Henschel in 1905, operational. G 2x2/2 "Mallet" # 105 built in 1918 by Maschinenfabrik Karlsruhe, operational. Smoke from the chimney of # 99 193 and # 104 is out from the smokebox only, they are not operational.
