Remarks & Notes 
An eastbound coal train cruises through Vroman, Nebraska, at mile 252.9 on Union Pacific’s Kearney Subdivision on May 6, 1995. Powering the train is a all-Chicago & North Western locomotive consist of GE C40-8 No. 8542, GE C44-9W No. 8651 and EMD SD60 No. 8005. C&NW No. 8542 is specially lettered for the 100 year celebration of Wyoming statehood with a logo on the long hood reading “1890-1990, Wyoming Centennial, A Lasting Legacy.”
