Remarks & Notes
Network Rails NMT (New Measurement Train) is a converted High Speed Train chock full of hi-tec computerised gadgetry which enable it to use lasers to inspect the track at 125mph.The train, known as the "Yellow Banana" or "Flying Banana",tours the railway system on a regular basis, recording track defects.Seen here passing Cardiff en route to its base at Derby.
