Under the light of the full moon, passenger train 22 of the Mongolian Railway from Ulaanbaatar (Ulan Bator) to Erlian (border station Mongolia/China), pulled by 2ZAGAL locomotives (rebuilt by General Electric), is running through the Omega shaped loop of Khonkhor on the Bumbat pass, about 25 kilometers south from Ulaanbaatar. A 267 seconds exposure time shot, during a Tanago Tour, guided by excellent railway photographer and RP contributor Temuulen Batkhurel (Monrailpics Tours).
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
