In the cab of cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 4/4 # 704 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) at Realp. All is new as when built in 1923 by the SLM Winterthur. In the middle foreground the throttle lever, above left the indicator for pressure in the cogwheel valve chamber, on the right indicator for pressure in the adhesion drive valve chamber, above the indicator for boiler steam pressure (maximum 14 bar or 203 Psi). There is an additional measuring instrument currently installed.
