Fireworks rain out in the night sky as a line of EMD SD9043MAC locomotives rest on track 57 of the former Rio Grande yard in Pueblo. These units will stay parked here for over a year as they await either a call back to service or get sold to another railroad. This evening they get to enjoy the Independence Day celebration like the rest of America.
