Remarks & Notes
An Amtrak Keystone sprints non-stop through SEPTA's Thorndale station, some 35 miles west of Philadelphia, PA. Not much to see here, today, though back in the day, the Pennsylvania Railroad's Thorndale Yard where this station is located served not only as a water and coal point, but as a classification yard for local freight service to industries in western Chester County, including Lukens Steel in Coatesville.
