A Santa Fe employee hand buffs the coat of wax on shiny SD75M No. 234 at the railroad's Locomotive Maintenance & Inspection Terminal. No. 234 and a sister will lead the Super Bowl Special tomorrow, and management wants them looking their best. It took several employees to wax and buff these big EMDs until they looked like they'd just come from the builder's paint shop!
