In a change from recent years the 2018 edition of the Denver Post's Frontier Days special will layover at Union Pacific's, former Rio Grande, North Yard. Linking North Yard with UP's Greeley Subdivision (and 36th Street Yard) is the Denver Belt Line. Walking across the York Street overpass, which still proudly wears the name of its former owner, UP 844 leads the Frontier Days special west across the 'Belt Line' towards North Yard where it will tie up until Saturday's excursion.
