Remarks & Notes
Reading & Northern's blue "225"; Fireman's side

Former Canadian Pacific 4-6-0 No. 1098 (built in 1913) acquired from the estate of George Hart by the Reading & Northern and cosmetically restored, renumbered and painted blue to match the railroad's famed "big sister", 4-6-2 No. 425. This "Ten Wheeler" is one of 9 surviving CP 4-6-0's scattered through the US and Canada. The locomotive was moved from Jim Thorpe, where she once ran excursions, to Port Clinton, PA where it was decided that she be painted for static display and moved to the parking lot by a new non-operational water tower at the railroad's new "Outer Station" parking lot. Coupled to the tender is R&N's "Ship by Rail" billboard box car.
