An empty ethanol train bound for Watertown, SD, crosses the CP Chicago Sub at Savanna. If a person ever finds old pictures from the Milwaukee Roads Days in Savanna, one wouldn't believe how much this area has changed! The bridge just below the train is a walkway bridge for the Great River Trail that is on the old Milwaukee Road mainline that ran towards Quad Cities from Savanna. I was surprised to see old signals still protecting movement, about only ones left along the Aurora Sub.
