Remarks & Notes
#926 "Repton" hauling a passenger train has just left the Goathland station on the NYMR. Designed by Richard Maunsell for the Southern Railway in 1930, the "Schools Class" was intended to meet a need for an intermediate passenger locomotive for routes which needed power, but could not handle large express engines.
