| Normally it's not uncommon to see inspection trains roam their respective rails. However there is the uncommon one once in a blue moon. UP 1943 leads the UP inspection train of the NS Kansas City District eastward at Carrollton, Mo. The purpose of the trip is potentially for UP to look at acquiring trackage rights over the former Wabash line across Missouri. A move that would potentially allow UP to move their G4 and AGBML trains off the BNSF Transcon if things come to fruition between the two lines. |
