Remarks & Notes

The majesty that is Darby Station.

The original simple yet handsome 1872 built Pennsylvania Railroad station seen here is long gone, as is its much more utilitarian replacement seen here. Today, all that stands at this location, roughtly 6 miles south of Philadelphia's 30th Street Station is this simple shack reminiscent of several replaced stations along the former PRR mainline in Pennsylvania.
