PGR 42 is mated up with a couple leased EMDs on the Wisconsin Northern at Chippewa Falls, WI. The unit began life as RSMX 1242 (Reserve Mining), built in October 1978, and in addition to carrying Minneapolis, Northfield & Southern colors, was lettered MNS 42 for a period of time.
