Remarks & Notes

The private charter train (birthday party) of the Schynige Platte Bahn (SPB) is slowly running down the mountain above Breitlauenen crossing station. The steam comes from the Riggenbach counterpressure brake. Cogwheel locomotive H 2/3 # 5 was built by SLM WInterthur in 1894. In the background the Augstmatthorn above the Brienzersee.
