Mt. Washington Cog Railway's 'WAUMBEK' manufactured by Manchester Locomotive works in 1908 ascends the mountain with the first batch of visitors to the summit. Incidentally this one is the first horizontal boiler engine to have the cab on the same plane as the boiler. For a short time, this locomotive burned biodiesel, but was reconverted to coal.
