The last Green Mountain Railroad Bellows Falls Subdivision Dinner Train operated on Saturday, October 20, closing out that component of operations on the GMRC, as the dinner train is moving to a base out of Burlington, Vermont, for the entire 2019 season. While daytime foliage trains will return to the GMRC next year, opportunities for night photos of the dinner and cocktail trains will no longer be possible. Taking advantage of the final trip, VTR GP40-2 307 eases across the Ludlow bridge as engineer Jason Arruda glances down for the camera.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
