Remarks & Notes
First generation TGVs : this is the end

In a few days, the first generation TGVs called “Sud-Est TGV” (south-East TGV) will disappear from the south-east lines, meaning all lines on the south-east quarter of France, with Paris Gare de Lyon as main terminal in Paris. Some remaining Sud-Est TGVs will keep working north of Paris, mainly on Paris – Lille trains. On the picture, Sud-Est TGV #11 built July 1980 (first from bottom) and #05 built March 1980 (5th train from bottom) share the tracks of the Gare de Lyon maintenance shops in Charenton with 4 or 5 other TGV types.
