Remarks & Notes
An NJT ALP-46 leads a set of bi-level coaches into Pennsylvania on a dead head move to the commuter agency's Morrisville yard. "Morris" tower, seen in the center was built by the PRR in 1941. With the majority of freight being moved off the NEC, the tower was closed in 1990 but is still used as an Amtrak MoW base and houses air compressor equipment for the pneumatic switches that still power MORRIS interlocking.
