Remarks & Notes
Georgia Railroad 1026 is a EMD GP7 that was orginally built in October of 1950. After serving the Stone Mountain Route, the engine would eventually be acquired by the Wiregrass Central, Alabama & Florida, & the Hartford & Slocomb Railroads. The H&S would donate the engine to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, where it stayed before it was sold to its current owner, the Southeastern Railway Museum, in 2004 & restored to its original paint scheme.
