What’s your question? Possibly the most popular question in northeast railroading - ‘Will the Battenkill run today?’ Sometimes you’re in the area and you feel lucky to hear the sound of the RS3 cranking up for another day’s run to Eagle Bridge, NY. On Tuesday, August 28, 2018, Battenkill Railroad’s 4116 is moving through Shushan, NY parallel to County Route 64 with just a wisp of smoke to show movement in this otherwise tranquil scene on a shortline that is truly a throwback to another era.
