| Railcar Xe 4/4 # 23201 of the infrastructure, shoving flanger (track plow) Xk # 9143 and pulling flat car Xae-t # 93105, running south of Ospizio Bernina station along the Lago Bianco. The snow on the flat car is transported into a gallery where it is placed laterally to prevent or minimize ice formation. In the foreground impressive thick ice, broken due to lowering of the water level of the reservoir for electricity production. |
