| The rust continues to accumulate on the New York & Greenwood Lake Railway in Passaic, N.J. During late 2017 the railroad was reactivated to move a covered hopper car (viewed on the left) to the Passaic yard. The Internal Revenue Service sold the railroad at an auction to a land developer and the hopper car has sat dormant since. Subsequently, the Surface Transportation Board ruled in favor of the New York & Greenwood Lake. However, nothing has moved and the equipment on the property continues to deteriorate. |
