Remarks & Notes

A quartet of former MARC engines sit in storage awaiting an uncertain fate. These engines were purchased by MPI many years ago and have been sitting long enough for moss to start growing on them. They were rebuilt by Morris Knudsen in 1993 using GP40 cores, SD45 radiator sections and F45 cabs. The line they sit on is the former Reading Columbia Branch, which ran from Columbia to Sinking Springs. Today this portion of the branch is used for car storage.
