Remarks & Notes

Norfolk Southern’s Juniata Shops are rebuilding another aging Dash 9-44CW into an AC-powered AC44C6M locomotive (this one to be NS 4244, currentlu stripped down to the frame). Interestingly, along with the flicker of arc welders, periodically an open flame would falre up. (September 18, 2019)
