Sometimes, Cajon Pass is too busy! A case in point is this meet between two trains. While waiting for eastbound train Z-LACNYC9-27 (Priority UPS-LTL Intermodal, Los Angeles CA to New York NY), westbound train Q-NWHLAC6-11 (Guaranteed Service Intermodal, North Baltimore OH to Los Angeles CA) arrived and blocked the planned shot. This occurred three times this day! So, the BNSF dispatchers created a different photo, showing a meet. And that’s fine with me. (The Z-LACNYC is powered by BNSF 7964, 5341, 7538, 6726 and 8227, and the Q-NWHLAC has BNSF 5604, 7462, 6052 and 5604 for power.). Silverwood, Cajon Pass, California – December 27, 2019
