Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad’s Rotary OY begins to throw some light snow east of Chama, New Mexico, passing milepost 329 on February 29, 2020. OY is pushed by K-36 Mikado locomotives Nos. 487 and 484, along with support cars and Rio Grande caboose No. 0306. The special run of the plow train featuring OY on the four percent grade up 10,015-foot Cumbres Pass is the first event celebrating the 50th anniversary the railroad this year.
