Peak hour train of the S 12 of the Zürich commuter network, running from Schaffhausen via Andelfingen-Winterthur-Zürich-Dietikon-Baden to Brugg (AG). Train 19230 is formed of 3 "DPZ" (doubledeck push-pull train) with locomotives Re 450 # 037, # 087 and # 069 (not visible behind the curve). Two of the DPZ came from Schaffhausen to Winterthur, where they coupled with another (here the first) which was positioned on the departing track before. In the Corona crisis, the number of passengers is estimated to have fallen to a tenth or less compared to the previous time. The trains were deliberately not shortened to allow "social distancing", a completely new term in Switzerland. We use this english term now very often, interestingly spoken in english, not in our languages german, french, italian and romansh. The SBB looses several millions of swiss francs daily in the Corona crisis.
