A Perfect Railroad Sunset - An eastbound manifest, led by UP 7180, crawls to a stop just before tackling the world famous, Tehachapi Pass. All rail traffic was halted along the entire pass due to an eastbound stack train derailment at Bealville, CA. This led to a perfectly timed shot along the mainline just east of Edison.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
