| With barely any sunlight left and rain rolling in from the west, the crew of Soo Line 2-8-2 #1003 is braving out the cold weather to get the train solid for tomorrow's photo charter. With a large crowd gathered around the tracks, the crew stages the engine on the wye at Wisconsin and Southern's Horicon Yard before tying down handbrakes and running the engine light up to Burnett. There, they will spend about 30 minutes filling up the tender with coal before coming back south. Special thanks to the cop who was generous enough to turn on his car lights for a couple of seconds for this awesome photo opportunity. |
