Reading & Northern, former Gulf Mobile & Ohio, 4-6-2 pacific #425 is in full stride through CP Coal on the Lehigh Division of the R&N on the afternoon of July 4, 2021. Passing old telegraph poles, this is former Lehigh Valley Railway territory for #425. With her cannon exhaust #425, brings her version of Lehigh Valley train 10, the Black Diamond, up to speed quickly. On this particular Fourth of July weekend, #425 was hauling short round trips from Jim Thorpe to Penn Haven Junction within the Lehigh River Gorge on the R&N operated Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway.
