Steamtrain 133 of the Dampfbahn Furka-Bergstrecke (DFB) left Realp DFB shortly for the journey over the Furka pass to Gletsch and Oberwald in the Valais. Here there is an about 1 kilometer long section through the gorge of the Furkareuss which is operated without rack, then the ascent with 11.0 % starts. The train has exceptionally 3 fouraxles cars and only 1 with two axles, weighing with passengers about 63 ton, 180 seats in second class and 18 in first class. Pulling is the heavy 0-8-0 T HG 4/4 # 704, built by SLM Winterthur in 1923 for the cogwheel railway from Song Pha to Dà Lat in French-Indochina, today Vietnam, and brought back to Switzerland in 1990. Operational again for the DFB since 2018.
